Edgar Davids

Edgar Davids has two main periods at Ajax. Firstly, Davids started at Ajax on 8 September 1991 playing against RKC. With Ajax he won the UEFA Cup in 1992. And in 1995, this young midfielder won both the Championsleague and the World cup. After that season he left Ajax to play at AC Milan, Juventus, FC Barcelona, Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur.

On 30 January 2007 he returned to Ajax from the English club Tottenham Hotspur. With his experience he is an important central player for the team.

During Euro 2000 (European championship of that year) a picture of Dutch player Edgar Davids on the 150 meter high building of insurance company Nationale-Nederlanden in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

This building of Nationale-Nederlanden is 150 meters high. This company was the main sponsor of the Dutch national soccer team in that year.
