2.000 years ago the light from this massive stellar explosion reached Earth, one of the biggest supernova remnants inside the Large Magellanic Cloud: N63A.
As a result, the explosion of the massive star left behind a neutron star, that is surrounded by the layers of dust and gas.
Already, some layers have compressed themselves to form new stars, thus continuing the cycle.
The LMC is located at a distance of 180.000 light-years and spans about 15.000 light-years.
