 Astronomy: Formation of stars in Orion


These closeup photo's from the Hubble Space Telescope shows the Trapezium Cluster in Orion. An estimated 50 newborn stars shine their light in both pictures.
On the left is the picture in visible light. On the right the stars are more visible in infrared light.
